DRAG ROAST

Produced by ITDEvents, Drag Roast was a national tour featuring a global all-star cast and Australia's fiercest drag performers, blending drag, stand-up comedy, lip sync performances, and outrageous celebrity roast culture into one gloriously unfiltered night out.

Hosted by Australia's own queer cabaret icon Reuben Kaye, the lineup featured local icons Art Simone and Kween Kong, and US darlings Darlene Mitchell, Raja, Jane Don't, Nicole Paige Brooks, Thorgy Thor, and Willam.

For this campaign, Zilla and Brook engaged with media across Australia to publicise tour stops in Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth. Coverage highlights included features in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald's Spectrum lift out, Kween Kong on ABC TV News Breakfast, interviews on all local ABC radio stations, and a cover spread in the Star Observer, amongst the total 90 media hits. It was a fierce, fun campaign, and the beginning of our relationship with ITD events…. More to come!
